From Xlumena’s labs in California to hospitals worldwide, the AXIOS™ stent has transformed endoscopic procedures thanks to innovative engineering and clinical collaboration.
In 2011, Hoang proudly held the first AXIOS™ lumen-apposing metal stent (LAMS) at Xlumena’s headquarters in California, marking a milestone in minimally invasive medicine. As a member of the engineering team, Hoang worked alongside renowned gastroenterologist Dr. Kenneth Binmoeller to help bring the device from concept to reality.
