From Xlumena’s labs in California to hospitals worldwide, the AXIOS stent has transformed endoscopic procedures thanks to innovative engineering and clinical collaboration.
In 2011, Hoang proudly held the first AXIOS lumen-apposing metal stent (LAMS) at Xlumena’s headquarters in California, marking a milestone in minimally invasive medicine. As a member of the engineering team, Hoang worked alongside renowned gastroenterologist Dr. Kenneth Binmoeller to help bring the device from concept to reality.
